Stats on College Students

Some stats on us...just in case you still don't think we're in your target market.

From the 360 Youth/Harris Interactive College Explorer Study (Fall '03).  I'm sure these numbers have only gone up sense then.Diploma
College students have $122 billion in on-campus spending power
Average student family's annual income= more than $89,000
75% of students have jobs, and earn on average $645 a month
79% own cell phones (this number is now closer to 90...at least)
74% have dvd players
48% purchased something online in the last month (I personally purchased a typepad account among other things)
Spend 15 hours a week online, shelling out $11 million online in the last year

These numbers are going up.  We're online...a LOT.  I bet my online numbers, even if I'm doing something else, are pushing 8 hours a day.  I'm not that above average as far as time online goes either.

We're here...we have money...we like buying.  How are you going to get us to buy from you?
