Lost came back on tonight, ending a horrific dry spell in which there was no Island adventuring.
I'm not going to lie, it was good, but it left me wanting. It felt a lot more like 24 than Lost. I love 24, I do, but Lost is about more than just Jack, Kate, and Sawyer. Lost is great because there are so many interweaving plots. 24 is basically one straight plot, one day, one adventure, one thrill ride. The two shows are my favorite currently on television, but, I love them for different reasons. 24 isn't about character development. Lost is.
Take us to the other island guys. We haven't had any Hurley or Claire or Charlie for 3 months either. Don't forget why your show is so popular in the first place. That being said, great plot twist, and I'm on the edge of my seat until next Wednesday (I miss the DVD's already, this was my first 'live' Lost experience)
