Well, I caved.
I've had a twitter account for nearly a year and a half, ever since my co-founder first told me about it. 
Now I actually started using it.  More business than personal (I leave the 'I'm the greatest' style posts for texts to the only person I feel is obligated to listen (my girlfriend))...but, go ahead and say hi if you use the service.

For a while I’ve been tinkering with an idea of publishing a Seattle Blog Rank like the Startup Index, except is just too hard to find a good measure of what a blog rank is. While I keep thinking on that problem I decided to put together a list of top entrepreneurs and bloggers from Seattle. All of these blogs are written by people that have their hands dirty building companies and are mostly about that.

Brent is the Founder & CEO of Athleon, a private site solution for sports team. Brent writes a mix of personal and startup topics. Brent being fresh out of college sometimes also brings a very unique point of view to building a startup, contrary to most on this list that built multiple startups.

There...And Back Again

Well, a summer+ of keeping my head down and working on Athleon like crazy, and I'm back on the blog

A quote from Mark Andreessen of Netscape fame:

"So go dark, focus on the business, and don’t talk publicly for at least six months."

I made it about four months, and while I'm still working on the business like crazy, I realized that: A: I made some great connections from blogging my last two quarters in college and B: that this is a great forum to allow you to learn from what I've learned and allow me to continue to learn from you.

So: Finding Free Wifi is the expansion of College Marketing 4.0...it's looking at my education as an entrepreneur, and how we're continuing to work to build a great product for our market. A bit of entrepreneurship, a bit of web 2.0, still some thoughts on marketing to college students and a whole lot more, assuming that I can steal away 5 minutes a day to keep blogging.
